Each tile begins with precise engraving and cutting using an xTool laser for crisp lines and consistent detail. The engraved pieces are carefully assembled from five layers of premium basswood, hand-glued for strength, sanded smooth, and stained to highlight the natural grain. Measuring approximately 1.5" long, 1.125" wide, and 0.4375" high (38.1 mm x 28.58 mm x 11.11 mm), each tile is finished with a glossy urethane coat for shine and durability.
Tile Set Options
The Riichi set includes 36 Dots, 36 Bamboos, and 36 Characters (four of each numbered 1–9), 16 Winds (East, South, West, North), and 12 Dragons (Red, Green, White). The American set includes all Riichi tiles plus 8 Flowers, 4 Seasons, 4 Bonus tiles, and 8 Jokers for full American-style play.

Each Mahjong set is handcrafted upon order and takes about 2 weeks to complete. Every set is unique, created with care and attention to detail. The back of each tile features a delicate Fan Monogram design surrounded by floral accents, swirling vines, and starry details—symbolizing beauty, grace, and celebration.
