Handcrafted Wooden Mahjong Tile Set – Dragonfly & Water Ripple Design Back – Riichi or American Style

Tile Set:

Each tile begins with precision engraving and cutting on an xTool laser for crisp detail and uniform sizing. The engraved pieces are then assembled from five layers of premium basswood, hand-glued for strength, sanded smooth, and stained to enhance the wood’s natural beauty. Measuring approximately 1.5" long, 1.125" wide, and 0.4375" high (38.1 mm x 28.58 mm x 11.11 mm), every tile is sealed with a high-gloss urethane finish for lasting shine and protection.

Tile Set Options
The Riichi set includes 36 Dots, 36 Bamboos, and 36 Characters (four of each numbered 1–9), 16 Winds (East, South, West, North), and 12 Dragons (Red, Green, White). The American set includes all Riichi tiles plus 8 Flowers, 4 Seasons, 4 Bonus tiles, and 8 Jokers for full American-style play.

Made-to-Order
Each Mahjong set is custom made and requires approximately 2 weeks of production. Every set is one of a kind, created with care and attention to detail. The back of each tile features a graceful Dragonfly hovering above a ripple in the water—symbolizing transformation, peace, and balance.
